Assurix exists to prove which MSPs are secure, mature and worth more, giving UK businesses clearer evidence about the providers they rely on. The team has over 100 years of combined experience in the MSP space.

Why Assurix exists

We've seen both sides of the problem: running an MSP day to day, and trying to explain to non-technical leaders why how you operate behind the scenes really matters. Assurix exists to raise the bar for MSPs and strengthen the resilience of the businesses they protect with live evidence, not promises.

The Assurix Team

Mit Patel - Founder and CEO

Mit Patel has over 20 years of experience in the UK managed services sector. He built and scaled Netstar to more than £8 million in recurring revenue and 60 staff before successfully exiting to private equity in 2021. In 2024 he founded Assurix, the UK's first live-evidence trustmark for MSPs, inspired by first-hand experience of weak industry practices and the arrival of the UK Cyber Security and Resilience Bill. Mit achieved £8M ARR at exit, spent 19.5 years building Netstar, and served 200+ businesses.

Oscar Barrientos - Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer

Oscar Barrientos leads commercial strategy, partnerships, and market development. Before Assurix, he was Senior Director of International Technical Sales at ConnectWise, where he helped MSPs across EMEA modernise operations and adopt best in class platforms. With more than 15 years' experience building ecosystems and partner networks, Oscar brings deep knowledge of the MSP landscape.

Adam Hancock - Founding Engineer

Adam Hancock is the founding engineer behind the Assurix platform. A developer passionate about DevOps, cloud computing, and automation, he leads platform engineering and designs the real-time evidence pipelines and integrations across PSA, RMM, and cloud ecosystems.

Raja Pagadala - Non-Executive Director

Raja Pagadala is a highly respected entrepreneur and leader within the UK managed services sector. He founded The Final Step in 1987, growing it into one of the country's most trusted MSPs before a successful exit to Evergreen Services Group in 2023. With nearly four decades of experience building, scaling, and guiding technology businesses, Raja provides strategic oversight and governance.

Sanish Satheesan - Head of Information Security and Assurance

With 15+ years in the IT industry, Sanish has helped businesses strengthen security, streamline operations, and maximise technology investments. He holds the globally recognised CISSP qualification, bringing enterprise-level expertise in cybersecurity, risk management, and IT governance.

Victoria Millar - Operations Manager

Victoria brings over 20 years of experience in the managed services sector, with a strong track record in business operations, financial administration and project delivery. She has deep expertise in process improvement, logistics and stakeholder management, and is known for delivering practical solutions to complex operational challenges.

Robert Dodds - Head of Growth

Robert is Head of Growth at Assurix, responsible for driving demand, pipeline and market adoption across the MSP channel. He focuses on translating the Assurix trustmark platform into clear commercial value for MSPs - helping them win more deals, defend premium pricing and stand out in an increasingly regulated market. With a background in B2B SaaS growth, demand generation and funnel strategy, Robert works closely with sales, product and partnerships to build scalable go-to-market systems that align marketing activity directly to revenue outcomes.

Jana Jhaveri - GRC Analyst

Jana is part of the Governance, Risk and Compliance team at Assurix, focusing on developing practical assessment frameworks and knowledge base content aligned to the UK Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF). With a background in Computer Science and Cyber Security from Cardiff University, she supports bridging the gap between technical security standards and real-world SME implementation. Beyond her work at Assurix, Jana is an active advocate for Women in STEM and has received recognition for her leadership and outreach through initiatives such as World Can Code.

Ollie Mankertz - Commercial Associate

Ollie supports MSPs exploring Assurix, helping them understand what "proof, not promises" looks like in practice and whether the Trustmark standard is a fit. He works closely with Oscar and the team to guide MSPs through the early questions around evidence, readiness, and next steps.

How Assurix connects the ecosystem

Building trust across the UK digital supply chain. Assurix sits at the centre connecting MSPs (prove their maturity with live evidence), UK businesses (find trusted, verified providers), insurers (better risk assessment data), and regulators (clearer view of supply chain).

How Assurix fits into the wider landscape

Assurix doesn't replace Cyber Essentials, ISO or other schemes. It sits alongside them and fills a gap. Cyber Essentials and ISO are typically point-in-time. Many tools help produce policies, but not live evidence. Few are designed around how MSPs actually run. Assurix is: Continuous (based on live data from PSA, RMM, M365 and security tools), MSP-specific (built around MSP workflows, not generic IT), Aligned with CAF 4.0 (and the direction of the Cyber Security and Resilience Bill), and Independent (we don't sell MSP services, we verify them).

What's next for Assurix

Our first Founding 50 cohort helped prove and refine the live-evidence model. The next phase is the 2026 Assurix Trusted MSP group: up to 100 MSPs going live in H1 2026, with early registrations getting priority.
