We're CompTech, and we've been looking after IT and cyber security for businesses, charities and non-profits across Blackpool, Preston and Lancashire since 2008. We're founder-led and we've stayed local on purpose. We don't outsource our service desk, so when you ring us you'll speak to someone in our own team who knows your setup, and when something needs hands on it, an engineer turns up. Most of our work is managed IT, cyber security and Microsoft 365 for organisations that have outgrown one-man-band support but don't want to become a small account at a national provider, including endpoint detection and response and backups we actually test. Charities are a big part of what we do, from getting the non-profit licensing you're entitled to through to working with trustee boards and volunteers, and plenty of our experience comes from years of supporting schools and trusts. We're Cyber Essentials Plus certified and take other organisations through certification too. Alongside established security platforms we've built some of our own tooling, and we also look after cabling, connectivity, CCTV, door access and AV. For organisations that need help knowing what to prioritise, we cover risk reviews, policy, board and trustee reporting, and Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness.
